World Record Smashed. The old world record of 105 hours, was smashed during the last week in October 2008. The 12 players endured some of the worst weather the North West had seen for some time.This ranged from Rain (14 hours straight) though sunshine to pre arctic nights of minus 5 degrees. But the lads were triumphant and emerged out the other side New World Record holders, at the amazing time of 168 hours. A massive vote of thanks goes to all those who gave up their time to help in whatever way. It could not have been done without you all.
Some of the people who gave so much help, without them the attempt could not have been successful.
